2 Truths & a Lie: Type 2 Diabetes and the Primary Prevention Patient is an engaging, interactive educational program that focuses on the management of patients with type 2 diabetes in primary care. The program includes polling questions throughout where participants must identify a false statement (“the lie”) out of a series of statements.


Program Learning Objectives

  • Recognize opportunities for practice change based on clinical practice guidelines and recent evidence
  • Determine which patients would derive health benefits from treatment initiation or change
  • Recommend treatment plans to prevent cardiovascular complications in people with T2DM in primary care
