About the Program
Our goal is to move beyond the data and into your clinic. We'll be using a case-based approach to discuss how to select, initiate, and manage these therapies to achieve meaningful outcomes for your patients with type 2 diabetes. We will also look at the most recently published data with these agents and how they can apply to patients you see in practice.
Program Learning Objectives
- Select appropriate GIP/GLP-1 RA or GLP-1 RA therapy for type 2 diabetes based on patient characteristics and cardiovascular risk.
- Apply CVOT data to optimize GIP/GLP-1 RA and GLP-1 RA therapy selection for patients with high CV risk and type 2 diabetes.
- Select evidence-based strategies to manage common adverse effects for patients with type 2 diabetes.
